BOA® FIT SYSTEM

The patented BOA® Fit System consists of three integral parts: a micro-adjustable dial, super-strong lightweight laces, and low friction lace guides. Each unique configuration is engineered for effortless precision delivering a connected, fast, customized, and durable fit, and is backed by The BOA® Guarantee. The Alien 1.0 system is an exclusive floating system located under the waterproof fabric cover that contracts downwards on the instep of the liner as the dial is tightened, precisely controlling volume and fit.

CARBON CUFF

Hand laid carbon fiber cuff provides the ultimate in stiffness in the lightest possible package. The cuff features Pebax overlapping front panels, for better flex to facilitate entry and exit and long-term durability. The cuff is closed by a single action Dyneema® cord interfacing with the ski/walk mechanism to speed transitions.

The UFO 4.0 sole is an exclusive SCARPA sole, built in response to the internal “ISMF” (International Ski Mountaineering Federation) standards.

Toe: The very low thickness in the toe area as well as reducing the weight allows maximum sensitivity on the rock or any challenging terrain.
Profile: The special lugs on the UFO sole are designed for maximum 360 degree traction, on every terrain.
Self-Cleaning Grooves: Large grooves on bottom for good, self-cleaning from mud, snow and debris.
